New community garden coming to fruition at TR Leger School of Adult, Alternative and Continuing Education in Prescott

The TR Leger School of Adult, Alternative and Continuing Education is hoping for help to create a community garden on its grounds in Prescott.

The school is reaching out to partners with a public meeting at 1:00pm on Friday at the campus. It’s a chance to get together and brainstorm the project and make it a reality.

The school has already been given $4,500 through a Community-Connected Experiential Learning Project Grant. The school says that it will help enhance its connections with the community and partners. It will also give access to fresh produce through the later part of the summer.

If you’re interested in learning more, officials are asking you to join them at the meeting.
