The next blood donor clinic in Prescott is set for next Thursday, April 20th at St. Mark’s Parish Hall and Canadian Blood Services needs donations, especially near holidays like Easter.
Territory Manager Mary Ann St. Michael says blood donations are divided into red cells, plasma and platelets. The platelets have a short shelf life and the bank needs to continually be refilled.
