Both english school boards are partnering with health units to face the Fentanyl crisis head on.
The Upper Canada District School Board and the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario will hold a series of public meetings to promote awareness about the issue. The first meeting goes tomorrow night at Brockville Collegiate Institute from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
It’s a chance for students and parents to learn about counterfeit drugs, overdose response and prevention.
Similar meetings will take place in Kemptville at St. Michael Catholic High School on Thursday, May 11th from 6:30pm to 8:00pm, in Winchester at North Dundas District High School on Tuesday, May 16th from 7:00pm to 8:00pm, and in Prescott at South Grenville District High School on Thursday, May 18th from 6:30PM to 8:00pm.
The sessions are free and everyone is welcome.
