Men will be walking down Brockville’s King Street in high heels to bring awareness to violence against women.
The 1st Annual Walk A Mile In her Shoes will be hosted by the Leeds and Grenville Interval House on Saturday, May 27th. Teams of walkers will get pledges or donate to the event with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the organization.
Leeds and Grenville Interval House Community Development Coordinator Kimberley Wright says they even have special community supporters such as Brockville Police Chief Scott Fraser.
