The Grenville County OPP detachment is asking members of the public to come forward with any information they may have about two recent thefts in Prescott.
On June 10th at approximately 6:00 pm police say three females stole hundreds of dollars’ worth of tooth whitening kits from the O’Reilly’s Independent Grocer. According to police the suspects were seen leaving the store in a black GMC Yukon Denali and headed west on Highway 401.
Police also say that overnight on June 12th the Riverside Auto Body Shop on Henry Street was broken in to. The OPP say numerous power tools were stolen, the value of which are estimated at up to ten thousand dollars. They added that the Forensic Identification Services Unit were called to the scene and gathered evidence.
