Tomorrow the Wellington Elementary School in Prescott is hosting their Canada 150 Celebration.
The ceremony, which starts at 9:30am will see the school officially presenting their new Canada 150 garden to the community. According to organizers there will be performances of popular Canadian songs, a video message from Governor General David Johnston and the unveiling of a Canadian flag plaque.
There will also be an official ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:15am. The school is located at 920 Boundary Street.
