A woman has been hurt after a hit and run.
Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry OPP says officers were called on Sunday evening to the scene of the collision on Shannette Road in South Dundas.
Police say the woman was struck by an unknown vehicle, which then left the scene.
A description of the vehicle has been released by police after officers spoke to a witness. Police say it is a small, black or dark blue, four door car with oval type headlights. It may possibly be a newer model. The vehicle was last seen turning onto Strader Road in South Dundas.
The OPP says the woman is suffering from serious non-life threatening injuries and was transported to hospital.
