The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville has a new website.
The new website was formally launched on Thursday and the United Counties Director of Corporate Services says their goal is ensuring their online presence caters to their customer’s experience. The updated home page is designed to provide key messaging about program launches, special notices and emergency information.
The same page also features “Call to Action” boxes, which highlights information that is important within the next few days or week. Special calendars have also been created for EarlyON programming, Provincial Offences Act court dates and Maple View Lodge activities. Members of the public can subscribe to specific calendars or individual pages and receive emails notifying them of new posts.
The main website was last updated in 2012, with a tourism site being added in 2013. This initiative has been going on for a year and was spearheaded by Manager of Technical Services Steve Seale and Robyn Demeule of the IT Department.
The website can be found here.
