A Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario school has been named the winner of a province wide video contest.
Students at Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School in Cornwall had their video selected from over 100 submissions by the Ontario Catholic School Trustees’ Association. Holy Trinity Principal Stacey Krol, and a handful of teachers, showed the video to the CDSBEO board at their last meeting.
The contest challenged Ontario Catholic schools to show how they were “Stewards of Creation” by showing how they were preserving, protecting and caring for the environment. Krol says they were excited when they heard the category because they have a lot of amazing environmental initiatives to showcase.
