The line-up of speakers for the Brockville General Hospital groundbreaking has been finalized.
Phase 2 of the hospital’s redevelopment project will symbolically start tomorrow with a ceremony at 75 Charles Street. BGH Board Co-Chair Jim Cooper will act as the emcee for the event. Minister of Infrastructure the Honourable Bob Chiarelli, Vice Chair for the South East LHIN Brian Smith and Heather Halladay, Vice Chair for the hospital foundation are all expected to speak.
MPP Steve Clark and Liberal candidate Mayor David Henderson are both also expected to give speeches. There will be a tent set up and the vent will go rain or shine on Wednesday.
