Brockville Mayor David Henderson is encouraging businesses in the area to clean-up their space.
As part of the Community-Wide Clean Up scheduled for April 21st Mayor Henderson is posing a 20 minute Corporate Cleanup Challenge on the Friday before. Business owners are encouraged to gather their employees and spend some time outside cleaning up their property.
The town is also reminding students that they can use the Saturday Community Cleanup as volunteer hours, but they must contact the Volunteer Centre for them to be counted. Participants can pick which location they’d like to help clean, and the town has identified those that need more hands. Cleanup supplies will be available for pick up at the Brockville Public Library from 4:00 to 6:00pm from April 17th to 19th and from 1:00 to 5:00pm on April 20th.
