Prescott Town Hall is reminding residents that they will be flushing the hydrants all May.
Between 7:30am and 3:30pm water-main flushing will be done to improve the overall water quality within the town. Flushing may cause water discolouration but the town says this is normal and is of no risk to resident’s health or safety. If your water is discoloured they suggest running the taps until it clears. They add you should run the water before doing laundry so you know the water is clear.
