Update: A 36-year-old man is facing drug related charges after the explosion in Prescott on Monday.
The Grentville County OPP says the man was arrested on the scene for drug charges after the explosion while another 30-year-old man was transported to hospital with head and face injuries.
On Tuesday OPP officers along with the Street Crime Unit and with the help of the Ontario Fire Marshall searched the property at 205 Churchill Road West saying it was an unlicensed marijuana facility.
Police say they seized a number of drugs and drug related equipment.
OPP says the 36-year-old man faces charges of production of marijuana, cannabis resin and criminal negligence causing bodily harm.
The OPP says it continues to investigate the incident.

The OPP confirm officers are investigating an explosion in Prescott.
Constable Cathy Lindsey says police were called around 5:30 last night to 205 Churchill Road West. Police are still on the scene this morning. Lindsey says they are going to be searching the area. One person is currently in custody. Lindsey says one male appeared to be injured and was taken to hospital. The OPP will also be looking into what the building was used for.
