Five businesses in the Township of Elizabethtown-Kitley have been chosen as nominees for the Business of the Year award.
The nominees this year are 1000 Islands Miniature Golf & Driving Range, Hall’s Apple Market, Howard Campbell & Sons Ltd., Kitley Grocery & Service Centre and Tincap Berry Farm.
There will be a luncheon event in October to celebrate and award the winner with a plaque. This is the 24th year the award will be handed out. The award is given to a business that has the best or most innovative business practices, services or products. The business would also be involved in the community. For some businesses, their is recognition if it has been in the community for a long time. Last year’s winner was the Brockville Ontario Speedway.
