Prescott’s Treasure Exchange Day is set to take place this weekend.
You’re being encouraged to take any items you no longer need in your house that are in good, clean condition, out to the curb this Saturday for other residents to take.
Cassidy Cameron works with the town’s Operations Department, and she says it’s a chance to not only get rid of items, but also to find a second-life for items other residents might need.
“There’s not a lot of stores open and it kind of limits people and what they can and can’t use,” Cameron said. “So, I think this is a good way for residents to get involved and help give items to other community members who might get more use out of them.”
The town is asking residents to have all unwanted items to the curb for 8 a.m., and have them clearly labelled ‘free’.
All items must be removed by 7 p.m. on Sunday.
