Police seeking public help finding a federal offender

OPP are seeking public help in finding a federal offender.

The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad has requested assistance in  locating Nolan Pichette, wanted on a Canada-wide warrant after he breached statutory  release.

Pichette is serving a 3-year, 7-month sentence for charges that include discharging a  firearm into a place in a reckless manner and possession of a firearm.

Police say Pichette is known to frequent Ottawa, Napanee, North Frontenac Township and  Cornwall.

The 24-year-old is described as an Indigenous male, five-foot-nine, weighing 185lbs, with  brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who has had contact or has information in regards to his whereabouts is asked to  contact the Provincial R.O.P.E. Squad at 416-808-5900, toll free at 1-866-870-7673 (ROPE) or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or call 9-1-1.
