Hockey fever, with an international flare, can be felt throughout the Ottawa region.
The 2025 World Junior Championship is taking place in Ottawa starting on Boxing Day and, leading up to it, pre-tournament games are being played in locations including Brockville.
Team Canada, along with the United States and Sweden, are the favorites heading into the event and fans throughout the region are expected to see the team in action.
Team Canada is playing its main tournament games at the Canadian Tire Centre in Kanata, starting on Dec. 26 when they face Finland.
The last time the tournament was held in Ottawa, in 2009, Canada won gold.
