South Nation Conservation has extended a flood watch statement with more rain on the way and snow continuing to melt.
They say the melting of snow and ice, in combination with the forecasted rain beginning on Saturday, can result in increased water levels and flows in local streams and rivers.
Widespread flooding is not anticipated, however, fast flowing water and flooding of low-lying areas, floodplains, and areas with poor drainage is still possible.
Residents are advised to exercise extreme caution when near rivers and waterbodies due to increasing river flows and slippery conditions.
