Police: Three people face charges after “month-long crime spree”

Three people face charges after what police say was a “month-long crime spree” in eastern Ontario.

In March, Ontario Provincial Police in Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Counties say they began an investigation into various crimes in the area.

Police say the suspects were identified through surveillance video and, last Thursday, the three were located in a vehicle in a parking lot in Kemptville.

The three were arrested with a 22-year-old male from Perth, an 18-year-old male from Montague Township and a 19-year-old woman from Oxford in Grenville County facing charges.

They include theft under $5,000.

The three have scheduled court appearances.
