You may see some discolored water over the next few weeks if you’re on Town of Prescott water. The town has been been flushing watermains over the last month and will continue to do so in October. The town says they conduct the flushing between 7:30am and 3:30pm. The flushing is done to improve overall water quality but it could result in temporary discoloured water. The town says the discoloured water poses no risk to health, but you can run your tap until the water runs clear.
