The Annual Open House at the Prescott Fire Department will kick off Fire Prevention Week tomorrow. Residents are invited to come down and enjoy a visit at the hall from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Kids and adults can enjoy a free barbecue, fire truck tours and a visit from Sparky. Little Ray’s Reptiles has also been invited to the event for families to enjoy. Fire Prevention Week begins on Sunday, and runs until the 15th. This year’s theme is Don’t Wait, Check the Date. The idea is to remind residents that you should replace smoke alarms every 10 years.
