Today is International Day of the Girl, a day where countries all across the world focus on challenges that women specifically face everyday. Girls Inc. in Brockville is just one local organization that is doing it’s part across Canada. Event Coordinator Kelly Cole says Canada has been involved from the beginning.
October is also women’s history month, and Girls Inc. will be celebrating “Person’s Day” in anniversary of the day women in Canada legally became persons.
