United Way and Cineplex Team Up For Starlight Film Festival

The United Way and Cineplex are coming together again to bring the Starlight Film Festival to high school students. The annual fundraiser takes place at the Brockville Cineplex the night of Friday, November 11th. Cineplex and theatre staff have been volunteering their time and efforts for a number of years to bring a great movie marathon to Leeds and Grenville high school students, according to United Way Communications Coordinator Tanya Noyes.
The movies being shown are Me Before You, Bad Moms, Conjuring 2, Money Monster, and Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates. Noyes says all movies chosen have a rating of 14A and under to appeal to even the youngest high school students.
Tickets are $20, and include a pass to see all the movies shown between midnight and 7am, and unlimited popcorn and drinks. Tickets are only available to high school students and can be purchased at Galaxy Cinemas Brockville or your local high school.
