The Britton Smith Foundation has given St. Lawrence College it’s biggest donation in the institution’s history.
Three million dollars has been gifted to the newly unveiled Uncommon Campaign at St. Lawrence College which just launched Thursday.
The campaign spreads across all three of the college’s campuses including Brockville, Cornwall, and Kingston; where the Britton Smith Foundation is based out of.
The Uncommon Campaign is already half way to their goal of 11.5 million dollars after the record donation, and is fundraising to build a new student life and innovation centre, a behavioural research centre, and upgraded health care simulation labs at the school.
The donation will also help fund student financial aid and will be put towards buying state of the art equipment for the college as well.
