Brockville Police have made a pair of arrests after a couple of confused culprits tried to pull a fast one over the arresting officer.
It happened around 1:30am Saturday morning after police pulled a vehicle over for an illegal traffic manoeuvre as well as suspicious activity.
While the officer was approaching the car, the driver and the passenger switched seats in an attempt to avoid charges. As it turned out, neither the original driver or the passenger owned a driver’s license, with both men oblivious to the other.
Both suspects were eventually arrested for obstructing police, drug possession, and driving without a license.
