A cheque for $5,000 was presented by the North Grenville Chamber of Commerce to the Kemptville District Hospital.
The money came from a chamber fundraiser in September called the Little Black Dress Event, meant to raise funds for the hospital’s foundation and the purchasing of new equipment.
It took place at the New Rideau Restaurant and organizers say it was a huge success.
Officials from both the Hospital and Foundation, as well as the North Grenville Chamber of Commerce were on hand for the presentation last week.
