As the Shine the Light campaign continues through the month of November, the Leeds and Grenville Interval House is inviting residents out to their second flag raising event at Brockville City Hall.
Â
It’s happening this morning at 11:30am on Water Street at the flag pole on top of the railway tunnel.
Â
The Shine the Light on Woman Abuse campaign is aiming to paint all of Ontario purple this November to raise awareness in trying to end violence against women.
Â
Later in the month, the Leeds and Grenville Interval House will also be starting the 16 Days of Action event to end violence against women, which begins with a rally on Friday November 25th at 11:30am, then the lighting of the Trees of Courage at 6:30pm. You can follow the 16 Days of Action online through the Interval House’s social media platforms.
