Parents from Eastern Ontario joined others from across the province at Queen’s Park to protest the possible closure of up to 600 schools.
Leeds-Grenville MPP Steve Clark spoke at yesterday’s event. Â Clark says the process which prioritizes school closures over long-term solutions is flawed.
Twenty-nine schools could be closed within the Upper Canada District School Board including Maynard Public School and Benson Public School.
