Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry OPP is reminding drivers of the dangers of wildlife at this time of year.
With the deer population more active at this time, drivers are asked to slow down and watch for crossing signs.
Deer usually travel at dawn and dusk and often move in numbers. Police say if you find a deer in your oncoming path, brake firmly and do not swerve to maintain control of the vehicle.
