Brockville General Hospital has a new piece of equipment thanks to a generous donation from the Brockville General Volunteers Association.
The Volunteer Association gathered money from their “In Memoriam fund” and funds from a recent raffle to purchase a new capnograph for the hospital’s intensive care unit. A capnograph is used for monitoring breathing during surgery or intense care.
All clinicians trained in basic life support practices now receive standard training in capnography.
