Everyone is invited out to Prescott’s 2nd annual Founder’s Day ceremonies taking place at the clock tower this Sunday, at 1:00pm.
In honour of Founder’s Day, the clock tower will be re-dedicated and will have a reception at the Forwarders Museum afterwards.
Mayor Brett Todd says the clock tower is looking better than ever after renovations this past summer, and the event is a perfect way to show it off.
Founder’s Day honours Colonel Edward Jessup’s birthday dating back 281 years to December 4th, 1735.
