A rally against the accommodation review process is set to be held tomorrow night before an Upper Canada District School Board meeting takes place, reports the Brockville Recorder and Times.
Parent council co-chair at Benson Public School, Donna Gladstone, is organizing the rally on the steps of the UCDSB’s headquarters to try and put a stop to the closure of a potential 29 schools across eastern Ontario.
Gladstone says the students are getting lost in the process of considering the closures. Gladstone also attended the provincial rally held at Queen’s Park not too long ago.
The rally is set to start at 5:30pm in Brockville at 225 Central Ave West.
