The Leeds, Grenville, and Lanark District Health Unit is challenging young adults to quit smoking with the WouldURather contest.
The contest challenges those aged 18 to 29 to either quit smoking, reduce smoking, or stay smoke-free.
Health Promoter at the Health Unit Rebecca Shams says the New Year is the perfect time to quit, with young adults holding the highest rates of quit attempts.
Those who enter the six week contest have a chance to win $5000. For more information and to register, go to WouldURather.ca. Entry deadline is midnight on January 22nd.
