Two people are facing charges after driving more than 50 kilometers per hour or more over the speed limit. The OPP caught both drivers in separate incidents on Friday night in South Dundas on the 401. The first driver, a 37-year-old man from Richmond Hill, was clocked at 155 kilometers per hour, while the second driver, a 33-year-old man from North York, was travelling 172 kilometers per hour.
Both men had their vehicles impounded and their licence seized for seven days. They’re both also facing charges in the incidents.
Police are reminding the public to slow down and obey the speed limit.
