Members of council have received their annual assignments to the town’s boards and committees for 2017.
Councillor Fraser Laschinger will act as Deputy Mayor from January 1st to June 30th, with Councillor Lee McConnell stepping in from July 1st to December 31st.
Volunteers are still being sought for certain boards and committees in the community, with positions waiting to be finalized at the council meeting at the end of the month.
