St. Lawrence College has unveiled a brand new Clinical Simulation Lab.
The state-of-the-art facility at their Kingston campus officially opened on Wednesday, and will offer an advanced technical training facility for students earning degrees in practical nursing, medical labratory science, and pre-health.
The new clinic is part of a bigger $11.5-million expansion project for the campus called “Hello Future”, with partial funding coming from the provincial and federal governments.
MPP for Kingston and the Islands, Sophie Kiwala, said that the new lab space will help ensure that healthcare workers of tomorrow are highly skilled and well prepared for employment.
