The second round of public meetings get underway tomorrow for the Upper Canada District School Board’s accommodation review process.
The meeting is a chance for the public to present their case to the review committee as to why their schools should stay open.
Tomorrow’s meeting will hear advocates for schools in the Grenville, Brockville, and River areas. The meeting gets underway at 6:30pm at Brockville Collegiate Institute.
The first meeting for the area took place back on November 15th and included many presentations from concerned parents and residents about their local schools.
A potential 29 schools in Eastern Ontario could close based on the UCDSB’s accommodation review process.
