Community partners around Brockville have announced that they are making a pair of generous donations to a couple of programs to Brockville General Hospital.
B.G.H.’s cardiovascular program is receiving a donation of $10,296 from a group of three Shoppers Drug Marts in Prescott and Brockville. The stores raised the money during their “Growing Women’s Health” campaign, which was promoting cardiovascular health.
The hospital’s Restorative Care Unit is receiving $1000 from Bridlewood Manor. The donation is the manor’s way of giving back to the community to celebrate their 20th anniversary.
Brockville General’s cardiovascular program relies entirely on donations from the public as they receive no government funding throughout the year.
