Brockville General Hospital is thanking one member of the community in particular after years of monthly donations.
Joyce McManus of Brockville has been donating to the hospital every month since 2008.
McManus says she is trying to make a difference in her community, having been born at B.G.H. and working as a volunteer there in the past as well.
This year, McManus’s donations went to the hospital’s cardiovascular program, which raised a total of $190,000, passing the goal of $150,000.
