Two schools in the Prescott area are still scheduled for closure after Upper Canada District School Board staff submitted their final recommendations to trustees.
Benson Public School is scheduled to close this September. Students from Benson will be transferred to South Edwardsburg Public School.
Maynard Public School is the other still scheduled for closure. Wellington Public School will be the destination for those students, although a closing date has not been set as the board is waiting for approval to expand Wellington.
The board of trustees will make their final decisions on which schools will close on March 23rd.
