A special weather statement is still effect for Prescott, Brockville, Gananoque, Mallorytown, Merrickville, Wolford, Kemptville, Westport, and Charleston Lake.
Environment Canada is expecting up to 25 millimetres of rain to fall by the end of today. Areas hit by thunderstorms may receive more than 25 millimetres.
The weather service says although the amount of rain is not significant itself, the ground has a reduced ability to absorb water due to recent rains and snow melt.
Environment Canada warns residents to be cautious of creeks and pooling water.
