Leeds-Grenville MPP Steve Clark will be making an appearance in Brockville at 10:00am to make an announcement about the Brockville Railway Tunnel.
Clark is expected to announce funding from the Ontario 150 program to aid in renovation of the railway tunnel.
The tunnel is currently under construction to become a walk-through tourist attraction and extention of the Brockville Trail.
The Brockville Railway Tunnel Committee was also hoping to have a light show inside the tunnel installed by summer to help celebrate Canada 150.
