Leeds County OPP has laid a number of charges after a serious incident and car chase on the 401.
Last Thursday evening police were involved in a multi-county car chase where shots were fired. Police were finally able to stop the vehicle west of Long Beach Road on the 401.
The 22-year-old driver from Toronto is now facing charges of attempted murder, dangerous driving, evading police, driving while disqualified, and possession of stolen property under $5,000.
A 17-year-old man is also facing charges of evading police and possession of stolen property under $5,000 as well.
Police are continuing to investigate.
