A total of $120,000 is on the way for Brockville’s Rails To Trails festival.
With $70,000 from the Ontario 150 program and $50,000 from Celebrate Ontario, the city will be celebrating the reopening of the restored Brockville Railway Tunnel as an extension of the Brockville Trail.
The festival is also themed to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday and Ontario as a founding province.
The event takes place the same weekend as the Big Brothers Big Sisters Ribfest, August 10th to 13th.
