Leeds-Grenville MPP Steve Clark has announced two recognition ceremonies within the county for the Volunteer Service Awards.
The first will be held in Brockville on April 28th at 7:30pm and the Brockville County Club. The second will take place in Rideau Lakes on Saturday, April 29th at 7:30pm at the Elgin Lions Club.
The night is used to celebrate volunteers in within their local communities.
Clark had been lobbying for a number of years to bring the ceremony to Rideau Lakes as recognition of the large number of volunteers that are nominated yearly from the township.
