Members of North Grenville Council were brought into council chambers in style at last night’s meeting.
The Royal Canadian Legion Kemptville Branch 212 piped in members of council along with members of the legion prior to the meeting. The special event was put together to celebrate the Legion’s 85th anniversary coming up next month.
Deputy Mayor Barb Tobin commented on the good work that the Legion does in North Grenville.
Councillor Jim Bertram talked about the dedication by Legion members.
Mayor David Gordon and council presented Legion President Sharon Murray with a special plaque and a proclamation to celebrate the occasion.
