The Rideau Valley Conservation Authority has downgraded the flood warning to a watch after levels have dropped.
The RVCA says access roads are now passable in the North Grenville area. Staff says that rain expected this weekend will increase flows, but not enough to return to a flood warning.
Parents are still reminded to warn their children about the fast moving, cold water if they live near the river.
The RVCA says staff will continue to monitor conditions and will keep the watch in effect for the weekend.
