Members of council are expected to discuss Emergency Preparedness Week at tonight’s Prescott Committee of the Whole meeting.
If approved the mayor would proclaim the week of May 7th as Emergency Preparedness Week. The town would promote the week with brochures, pamphlets, and fact sheets from the Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management. There would also be an advertising and social media component included in the week.
The staff report says it should cost about $500. That falls within budget.
Members of council will also discuss the building of a new storage unit for the St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival.
The meeting begins at 6:30pm in the Prescott Council Chambers.
