The latest phone scam involves someone pretending to be from a collection agency on behalf of Bell Mobility.
The Brockville Police Service says some residents have been getting calls regarding overdue accounts with Bell. Those residents say they don’t have an account with Bell Mobility.
Brockville Police Service says residents should hang up and go to a Bell Mobility office or call Bell Mobility back to confirm if it really is a call from Bell Mobility.
Police also remind you not to give personal information over the phone.
