A prescription drug drop-off day is taking place tomorrow in Smiths Falls.
The event is being held by the Smiths Falls Police Service and the Leeds, Grenville & Lanark District Health Unit.
Public Health Nurse Jennifer Labelle says unused and expired drugs, patches and other medications can be harmful and this is a safe way to dispose of them.
The event will take place in the police service’s parking lot from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
You can also drop off unused and expired prescription drugs to your local pharmacy.
